The distance between us means both nothing and everything, for though I can feel you across the miles, the pain of your absence hurts almost more than I can bear.  You've no idea how much I miss you.  Your warm touch, your sweet voice, your soft lips against mine.  Sometimes I feel as if I can not go on any longer, but then I am reminded of our love, and how, one day soon, you will return to me.

That day, oh! that wonderful day when you return to me will be like heaven on earth!  How I long to wrap my arms around your neck and hold you close!  How I long to feel the warmth of your body near mine once again!  It has been so long, my love, since you left me, so long since I last kissed your lips!

My soul aches for yours.  Every day is a trial without you.  Every day without your smile, the brush of your hand hurts like a dagger in my heart.  The only thing that numbs the pain is your eminent homecoming.
